Kevin Ripley
Kevin Ripley is the founder of Sapper IT, a veteran-owned AI and IT consulting firm based in Bozeman, Montana.
Before starting Sapper IT, Kevin spent six years at Oracle as a Senior Technical Analyst, where he built Python automation tools that cut cloud-based email attacks by 85% with no customer downtime. Before that, he served a decade in the U.S. Army National Guard, including a deployment to Afghanistan conducting route clearance missions. He holds a Master of Science in Information Technology and Cybersecurity from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Science from Montana State University, where he is a proud Bobcat alumnus. He also holds a CompTIA Security+ certification.
Today he works with small businesses, startups, and executives who know they need to do something with AI but are not sure where to start. He figures out what is actually worth building, then builds it. Current projects include an AR sports training app piloted with Montana State University Athletics and several other AI-driven projects in active development.
